This is such a beautiful campground. The host was very nice and friendly while checking us in. We took a hike to both goat rock and the observation tower from the campground. Loved it here. And so close to the bathhouse which we enjoyed as well as the visitor center.

Campsites are beautiful. Creek is right by the sites and is very nice and peaceful. Shower facilities are very nice. Super close to the national park with trails from the campsites that go into the park. Yes the sites are slightly not level but I think people exaggerate how unlevel they are. Just bring some blocks and you will be fine. Great experience and we will definitely come back!

Love the campground so close to the hiking trails. It is clean and well kept and the restrooms are family style in design. Benefit is being close to NP bathouse row and the wonderful nearby NP trails.

I love this campground! Yes, it is a bit tight, but it is also beautiful with many hikes right from the campground. Its location is terrific at just a 5 minute drive into Hot Springs for the bathhouses. I had 2 nights in site #40, which was almost level and backed up to the creek. This site had almost no area for hanging out, the table was too close to my neighbors utilities. On my third night, I had to move to site #26. The website did say to expect to use leveling, but I could not get level even side to side. I had 5 blocks on one tire and 3 on the other and was still too off. After 30 minutes I gave up (even had a fellow camper help me to no avail). Fortunately, the camp host was able to move me to another site. My advice for site 26 is a tent or a tiny trailer. I went in mid-November and the campground was full, so make your reservation early.

The campsite was very clean and set up well. It was fully packed and sites are rather close and open though so you will know your neighbors. Lots of trash cans and streetlights around making it a safe and clean spot but very much in the city. Close to a trailhead and we did about 5 miles before we turned around instead of doing the whole loop around town. The springs are great and the brewery on the strip allows dogs inside too. Great spot for a camping trip with the dogs.

What a lovely park, great location although the site was not the easiest to level. We were only here for two nights but loved it.

We were far enough away from the mountains that we had some connectivity. The sites along the creek are beautiful, though.

This is an older park that is not very well maintained. It is a Corps of Engineers facility, and that explains why it is so neglected. Grass was tall when we arrived and nine days later it was even taller. They did mow on the day we left. Water is very poor quality, and there is low pressure. Park host attempt to help where they can, but they also have to perform under Corps rules. Several sites are so steep it is almost impossible to get level. Cant do anything about road noise from hwy 7 spur-but it is a nuisance. This could easily be a nice park, but the Corp would have to spend money for improvements. I dont see that happening. Shame

A very peaceful campsite. We had Tornado warnings during the night. The camp host did an excellent job of opening buildings and ensuring campers were out of tents and sheltering in the buildings.

Pros-. The campground is very clean, well-run, and sites are nicely spaced. . Next to a creek and mountain with a foot trail. The cost is very reasonable. Staff was helpful and courteous. Close to Hot SpringsCons-. Right next to a highway and loud trucks run ALL night long. Woke me up repeatedly, despite running white noise. . Park is relatively small and often full. . Bath house only has toilets, no showers

This is a very tightly spaced campground close to a fairly busy road. The bathrooms are updated and clean, no showers. Pretty loud and cramped- one of the least enjoyable NPS campgrounds Ive stayed at

Great location. In the peacefulness of mother nature but only 5 minutes from downtown. Full hook ups is very nice. Please note some sites are inclined, so you have to get creative with sewer hose drainage. Only a few sites have a fire pit ring- just an FYI. The park host was super nice and very attentive to the needs of the camper.
