Beautiful spot- #5 is good for tent camping. Camp host was super helpful. Bathrooms were clean. Road noise is present, but otherwise everything was great!

Some of these spots, mine included, are very tight with low hanging trees. I would be careful booking one of the campsites that has retaining walls around the Picnic Area if you have a longer RV or trailer.

First time camping here and we loved it. Nice camping spot nicely screened with shrubbery to give privacy. Restrooms were clean. Definitely want to come back to hike the GG trail!

Nice quiet stay, close to downtown Hot Springs. Beautiful wooded area with lots of hiking.

Fantastic destination! The booking website was a bit problematic but got it worked out.

Great spot - sites are close, but no issues from that. Facilities are really nicely kept, and you can easily hop on some trails without having to drive out from the campsite. There will be some road noise, so bear that in mind.

Short visit (one night), but enough to get a feel of the area. There was a little river running next to the campground, a park amphitheater, picnic table, restrooms with showers, water, and electric. No dishwashing sink. First time to Hot Springs National Park, and first time camping in Arkansas. We walked a trail from the campground called Gulpha Gorge over the mountain (and across a road) to connect with another trail and then to the Honeysuckle Trail which ended up over in the historic Bathhouse Row district. When we got to Bathhouse Row (yes, there are still a few bathhouses there that you can go to for bathing), we briefly went to the visitors center of Hot Springs National Park (taking turns because we had our dog), and also saw the steaming hot pools and fountains in town. There is one fountain that is like a continuously running sink with hot water flowing, and they let you fill up bottles/cups from it to drink the hot mineral water. (Drinking the hot water was actually really nice after getting rained on).

Overall a nice park. There is a lot of hiking, which we love. Unfortunately there is a lot of traffic noise being so close to the main road. But we will be back!

Great secluded campground and a nice hike up the trail. The stream ran along the campground and there was an area the people could wade to cool their feet. it is definitely a place to camp if you are going to the Springs.

Nice site close to the water. Its off of a busy road so will hear cars driving by all night

Overall very pretty sites. Nice space and great for tent camping. The bathrooms were clean and the creek was very pretty and a great activity. Lots of hikes in the area. Also less than 10 minutes away from the national park and downtown. My only problem which wasn't really a problem there was no ranger or ranger building. If there was it was not clearly marked. But overall beautiful site and will go back if I get a chance.

Nice place to stay. I appreciated the ease of making reservations online. My spot # was emailed to me along with a code for the shower building. There was a card with my initials on the post of #5 on my arrival. Very efficient!

Very nice and clean campground with full hookups, which is rare and a national park. There was always a park ranger around for added safety.

Loved our stay here. With running water, an outlet, and the bathrooms nearby tent camping was a breeze. Even though it was rainy when we stayed, pitching the tent on the paved strip kept us elevated. It was so nice having all the trailheads start from the campground. Also, having tree cover made for beautiful places to set up a hammock. I wish the road had less traffic nearby, but during our stay, it sounded like they were working on fixing that! Loved it here! Not too far from town either!

Beautiful campground. Enjoyed the area and hiking trails. Only negative is the road noise (all day & night) We were told that they are building a ByPass to stop traffic from going through the National Park except for Park Visitors.

Nice campground with well equipped sites. Close enough to Bathhouse Row to allow easy visiting but out in the countryside good for camping.

We really enjoed our stay even though it was just one night. Very shady pretty campground with creek runny by the outdoor amphitheater. Wish we had chosen site further back from the highway. Lots of truck and emergency vehicle traffic. But nothing like an interstate. Our camp site was large and very comfortable. We were traveling in a 32 foot Coachmen Class A with a Ford Flex tow car. Check in was just go to your site and set up. We were off exploring Hot Springs, so we never were in contact with any rangers. We will come back again and hope to get a site back by the creek!
