The best part of the South Slope Loop camp sites was the shade! This is such a lovely forested area. The restrooms and camp sites were nice and clean. We didn't realize this until after starting a hike but the Loop Trail is accessible from the South Slope Loop near camp site #19. From there it is only a quick hike to the Interpretive Trail as well.

Secluded, quiet and lovely campground with private sites and upgraded comfort stations that are superior to any Indiana State park Ive been to.
Bring a kayak or canoe - the lakes are not overly large but tranquil. Plan to return.

Love this site. This was our second visit here. The site is well distanced from other guests. Tall pines surround the site. Short walk to nice bath house. Enjoyed cooking on the fire and just resting at the campsite. My husband took the kayak out on the lake while I read a great book on the shore and watched him. There are some nice hiking trails in the area as well. Just 30 minutes from home! Love it!

This is a beautiful campground. The sites are spacious and spread out. Restrooms and showers were very clean. Even though it rained during most of our stay, we absolutely loved it.

We stayed in #25 in the South Slope campground. The spots are very spacious & clean with a large buffer between sites. The shower house/restrooms were clean and centrally located(2 minute walk for us). It was very quiet compared to other places we have stayed. The staff was overly eager to assist us with any info we needed. We definitely will return!

Great campsites for RVs, well maintained and thorough restroom/shower facilities, numerous water hookups, free RV dump 3.5 miles south of Park entrance, great hiking and scenery. Overall excellent place and can't wait to go back!

Big, private campsites. Firepits well designed and conducive to nice fires.
