Great campground, large sites, well maintained. Nice lake with easy access. The only drawback was that several campers would run generators from morning until night, even though the rules say no generators. If it werent for the generators we would probably rate a 5. This is supposed to be a rustic campground.

Campground hosts were excellent!Always cheerful, kept the restrooms clean too.This campground would certainly benefit with a dump station. Most of the natural forest campgrounds have them.

This is a really nice park and, while the restroom facilities are a little older than many in the southern part of the state, they were clean and well-kept. The ranger at the registration booth was very courteous and helpful. The bike trail that runs right beside the park was very handy and we enjoyed a pleasant ride. We were on our way to the UP and this was a great stopping point on the way.
