Site 4A is a large site with a nice level area for a tent. There's a wooded path down to the lake and a small "private" beach. The privy was nearby as was the water spigot. The privy was clean.Once during our stay the ladies' restroom accidentally got locked. Since the campground host was not on site, it was a while before this privy could be used, but there are others on the campground. Another time the water spigot didn't function. Both problems were quickly solved by the campground host when he returned. There were occasional noise problems from other campers as well as a generator being used for a little while after quiet hours. These were only minor annoyances.Bruno's Run, a 9.2-mile biking/hiking loop trail, can be accessed from the campground. It goes past other nearby lakes and is quite beautiful. Pete's Lake also provides a public beach and there are several lakeside benches accessible from the campground.

if you like camping at a beautiful place and listen to the constant humming of portable generators, this is your place!

Great campsite. Level, access to water. Excellent! you could bring a couple kayaks and a boat and tie up along the shore here. Cell phone service Limited if any. Access to pump water and bathroom. Very close.

Site Number 4a was very nice! Not quite as private as it looked online, since it is next to the camp host. Beautiful woods behind the site. It backs up to a lake, with it's own little beach. Plenty of flat space for our little camper and a tent. Clean, very well maintained nice fire pit and picnic table. Mountain Bike trails are good for all skill levels, very backcountry feel with many views of lakes. Verizon Cel service was almost non-existent, but, it's Camping right.? :)

One night someone was shooting off very loud fireworks in the campground at midnight. The roads could also use a repaving. Great Campground and lake. JetSkis and motorboats tie up right next to the swimming area.

Could be the best campsite I ever booked. Had a beautiful little private sandy beach on the lake, and the campsite was large and very private. Definitely will be back!

Great location - 15 minutes from Munising. Very private. The private beach on the campsite was absolutely fantastic.

The hosts were friendly & very accessible without being "in our faces" all the time. We had our kids & grandkids with us this time & we all enjoyed the stay very much. Between fishing, biking & swimming there was something for everyone to do.

Great campsite. Hosts were friendly and very helpful. Make sure you go to town for the Friday fish fry at the Moose. It's a fund raiser and the food was excellent. It's like a religion up here, and they're very devout. Bruno's Run was fun on a mountain bike. Didn't do the whole trail, just a couple miles. Be aware there is no RV dump station here or at Wide Waters. You have to drive a ways to get to a NF campground that has one, if you need to dump. Deer flies and horse flies were a little pesky at times. Not unbearable by any means. Very few skeeters. No luck on the walleye fishing. I don't ever recall having to remove a night crawler from a hook when I was done fishing. Usually something will eat it. Not this trip. Saw plenty of decent sized fish and got bit off once. Probably a pike. We always look forward to going to Pete's Lake.
