Camp sites were spaced out great and we had a beautiful sunset overlooking the lake. But the mosquitos were really bad and no firewood at the campground, so make sure you grab firewood on your way in.

Very nice, wooded and very spacious sites. Apart from one night, the campsite was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the ambiance and proximity to plenty of Upper Peninsula attractions (eg Marquette & surrounds, Lakenenland Sculpture Park, scenic overlooks of Lake Superior, Pictured Rocks). At the campground itself, we especially enjoyed the treat of a wildlife viewing raised platform above the lake!

Among the most beautiful campgrounds we have visited. The campground hosts were outstanding. They kept the place spotless.

This is a beautiful, peaceful, well-maintained campground with welcoming and friendly hosts. The sites are generously sized, and are wooded in between the sites, so you have a fair amount of privacy. A short 10 minutes to the beautiful Au Train beach, and easy day trips to Pictured Rocks, Munising, and Marquette. We will definitely be back!
