Beautiful spot! Can't wait to come back.

Very pretty camp site overlooking the lake. Plenty of tent space and good water access. The only reason I don't give the site 5 stars is that there is not even a pit toilet. It appears this would be an easy project for the Forest Service judging by the terrain, and would have an obvious environmental benefit

Having your own remote campsite on a remote lake sounds good in theory-the scenery, the solitude, the quiet- but... Site 2 does not have a privy so the woods around the campsite are full of TP. Previous campers did not know the meaning of "leave no trace". Site 1 on the other side of the lake was occupied by a large camper with at least 3 vehicles. For the 3 nights we were at Site 2, they ran their generator pretty much 24/7. Also shot off what sounded like a semi-automatic one evening. There's no one to monitor the sites as far as we can tell so responsible campers be aware. We did enjoy the loon on the lake.

Trash in the surrounding woods. Since these places went online they are visited by people who don’t have any respect for nature. Worst thing ever. A real tragedy.
