The campsites were huge! We didn't even know anyone else was there. The Host was very friendly and helpful! It was very clean, easy access to water, and electricity worked! Lake is beautiful and very clear. Also hiking trails were fun and good even for kids. We'll be back!

I camped at 7 campgrounds around the UP. I can't remember a thing about this one. It must have been nice, quiet, and comfortable! Not breathtaking excellent, but very good!!

We spent our time at Camp 7 relaxing and enjoying the rustic beauty of this campground. We met a lot of other really nice people, but also enjoyed the huge campsite that was wonderfully private. The lake was warm, everything was clean. LOTS of great trails to walk on. We had a great time!

The last time I camped here I was about 7 years old, in the mid 1970's...now, again single, I took my English Springer and RPod for a visit.

First, the (only) negative...flying gnats...I checked in on May 15th about 2 PM and if my dog wasn't snatching at them, I was swatting them away from my face while getting camp established. They seemed to subside around 4 PM, but were back on day two. On day three, they were pretty much gone.

The good, positive, and great: quiet, secluded, & serene. Granted, I was there on Day 1 of the season, with only the Campground host and one other camper several sites down from me. The pit toilet I used was clean, with a daily cleaning checklist posted inside (I used on-board camper plumbing for #1...). The lake was crystal clear with minnows swimming around as I took the pooch in for a couple of dips. Another reviewer took issue with the quality of the roads, but for out-in-the-sticks in the UP, not too bad.

I look forward to a return excursion.

just wish there was a dump station

My family loves camp seven! It is a yearly tradition to go there for the summer to camp. I’m only leaving a review because my husband wanted me to mention how terrible the road is. The road could definitely use some repairs, potholes everywhere and makes for an interesting ride hauling a camper. Also, a fill up and dump station for campers would make it so much better! That’s the one downfall of camping here.
