It's a lovely, well maintained place. We didn't use much but the wood stove, but everything appeared to be great!

We enjoyed our weekend so much! I didnt realize the cabin was so close to a busy highway, but I should have researched the location better. It was very easy to get to. The cabin is adorable and has plenty of room for a family. There are a few utensils but better if you bring your own and bring kitchen knives! Loved the old painting preserved on the cabin wall and the books, toys and games.

Basic rustic cabin layout. If you are staying during winter months bring some electric space heaters. The wood stove burns warm, but quick and makes for cold mornings.

The cabin is awesome and amenities were appreciated. We left the cabin clean and vacuumed for the next guests. It was a bit closer to the road than we'd like. There was construction up the road, which was a bit disruptive to mid-afternoon. Night were starry and quiet .

Moose Creek cabin was a 2 bdrm, living area w woodstove and a eat in kitchen. Each bedroom had a full and a twin bed. The place is historic and the information on the history was fascinating. It was well worn and needed interior painting. The outhouse was clean. It was convenient to trails and town. It is right off a paved road and has a big parking lot for OHV / snowmobiles and forest service equipment across the street. I was grateful for the space heater provided. Thank you forest service for allowing us to stay here!

Excellent spot right off Remini Road. Cabin was clean and well prepared even with its high rate of use.

It's a beautiful spot and we were lucky to have perfect weather. Since then there's a fire in the area so I'm hoping for the best.

I love this cabin. The only thing I can say this time is the vacuum seems to be worn out. Cleaning was difficult. Other than that, it was magnificent

Very cozy and nice cabin, or more of a farm house style. It was very comfortable and relaxing. Not too cold, but we still had a fire and it kept us warm all weekend. The skillet on the stove was dirty, we cleaned it for the next guests. We will for sure be renting this cabin again in the summer so we can ride our 4-wheelers and explore the area and be outside more.

Had a great time here, fireplace kept the whole cabin at least 75 degrees so we were super warm. We went snowshoeing and relaxed, it was a great stay!

Always a wonderful stay. First time during the winter. Only heat source is a small wood stove in living room. No oven if you plan to bake. Recommend electric heaters for the 2 bedrooms. There is a nice trail behind the wood shed that goes to the top of the hill. Near the hill top is where to get cell service. Nice place to relax.

This is a very nice cabin. Two bedrooms, main room and kitchen. It has electricity, stove and even has a microwave! There are hikes from the cabin and nearby. I am excited to come back and cross country ski nearby.

What a lovely cabin! It was clean, tidy and very comfortable with a small bubbling creek in front. Honestly, it exceeded my expectations both in terms of the cabin itself and the great hike right from the back yard. I only wished Iād booked it for longer.

Enjoyed this cabin.
Pros: Easy access to trails and fun stuff. Cabin was clean and stocked well. Big area for the fire pit with benches. Lots of wood in the shed.
FYI: the blower on the wood stove is not working so you really go through the wood to keep the place warm in the colder months.

What a comfortable cabin and space. It was clean and I really liked the historical artwork and explanation of the cabin's and drainage's history. Not only was there plenty of wood for the woodstove, but it was cut and there was kindling to get the fire going. Cabin is relatively deluxe with electricity and propane so we were snug as bugs. We had a dog with us and were grateful that the yard area is fenced since the paved road by the cabin has some speedy, if infrequent, traffic. The outhouse/vault was clean and didn't smell. To the Helena Ranger District I'd recommend that a screen be installed over the outhouse/vault vent to prevent birds from falling in and being unable to get out. What a fun cabin! Makes you feel like you just stepped back in time. Loved reading "Little House on the Prairie" to the kids and looking over to see a desk (that holds the old typewriter in the living room) that's exactly the same as the one described in the book. Really made history come alive! The hiking trail behind the cabin is nice and the wood stove keeps the living room and adjacent bedroom nice and toasty (the kitchen and back bedroom stayed pretty cold in March so we closed those off and all cuddled close in the other rooms). Would love to return again someday and I highly recommend it for one of your adventures too!

Great Lil cabin! Had a wonderful time. The place was very clean and ready when we arrived. The bathroom was stocked and had plenty of wood for fires! One of our favorite places to stay.
