The tent campsites have a short walk from the parking to the tent pad. Each site is separated so you don't feel like you're immediately next to the other campers. Water and restrooms are a short walk away, and the location is excellent for access to the visitors' center and trails.

It was a cool high altitude desert campground with perfect access to the Guadalupe mountains. We arrived late but had no problem setting up camp and having ample parking.

Very nice and well maintained. Some sites are a little close to one another. Restrooms were clean and close. Trailhead access is a breeze.

I stayed in the tent campground and it was lovely, everything you could want from a campground. It was quiet and there werent any lights from RVs running all night long since it was tents only. Bathrooms with heat and running water were a short walk away, as was a sink for washing dishes. Plus youre right at the trailhead for a bunch of hikes and a very short drive from the visitors center.

The campground is right next to a busy highway with a major hill, so I had to listen to the air brakes on semis all night. Otherwise it would have been a nice campground, but I expected peace and quiet in a national park.Don't camp here without ear plugs!

Fantastic camp grounds. Well maintained and well spaced out. The flush toilets were down, but that is totally understandable. The pit toilets were very clean and well stocked. Easy to find. Great views. Im glad they had a water fill station that was running!

Small campground (which we love) with good restroom/dish sink/trash amenities. Very convenient parking for campsites. Campsites are spaced pretty well. You can hear cars on the main road but that is minimal at night. Convenient to visitor center and trailhead. The ranger on duty at the information desk could have been more knowledgeable about the trail details. The NPS brochure doesn't describe trails like ones we've gotten at other parks but there is a sheet with some details on the board outside the visitor center.

Great park! Clean bathrooms, nice and tidy campsites. Awesome trails! The only downside is there is no shower. But drinking water is available as well as the sink for dirty dishes next to the bathroom building.

We booked tent site #1 for two nights in mid-February. The location felt secluded even though the other tent sites weren't far away. We had a great view of the surrounding mountains and easy access to the trails in the area.

What a great campground! There was quite a bit of distance from other campsites and the one i was staying in. I did have quite a few sand flees bothering on my first night so i'd recommend bringing bug spray. There was no camp host, the neighbors played music on some speakers but it wasnt too bad. Absolutly beatiful campsite. I would recommend tent camping here over RV or car camping due to the additional view/privacy that the tent sites provide.

The campsites were a little far away from the parking spaces than I expected, but the campsites themselves were good. The potable water source was hard to find because it was just not well marked. However, once I found the source, it was a wonderful fountain source for bottle filling. The reservation system worked perfectly.

This whole park is pretty rough. Unless you are in excellent shape, most of the trails will be too difficult for you. The weather was terribly cold, but I came in February, so that is on me. Pine Springs campground is a little rough. Most of the campsites you have to park your car and hike into a little ways. No BBQ and no bear box, so bring a camping stove and keep all your food in the car. I personally won't be returning to this park unless I come in an RV. Beautiful park with beautiful views, but again it's tough stuff.

Mobile Data Speed Map

If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
