Super convenient location for lots of hikes in the area. Good accessibility to clean bathroom, would stay here again when in the area.

This is basically a parking lot campground. I had a great view of the mountains. Bathrooms were clean with running water. Nice walk down to the visitor center. Great place to stay on the way through.

The rv loop isn't really a campground, just some designated spots in the trailhead parking lot. Still, there was a bathroom with running water and flush toilets and fresh water. On the plus side, you're about 100 feet from the trailhead.

Excellent view, nice hike. excellent weather, untill.... about 3a the camper started shaking... I checked Google to see how much wind it would take to blow it over. We still had a 15 mph buffer. Also, the nearest gas we could find was in Carlsbad, NM. Make sure you have plenty before arriving.Need to go back and spend more than 1 day.

We loved our stay at pine springs! The RV spots are pretty small and close together, but the views were amazing. The bathrooms were clean. We loved the Guadalupe mountains! There are many amazing trails right next to the campsite, we did the Guadalupe peak trail. I recommend setting up and cheering on the hikers when they return from that hike and maybe give them a cold beverage! We felt like we wanted a welcome back party.

It was exactly how it was described on the Recreation.gov reservation site. It was a parking lot. I parked 2 nights in my car and had a spot on the end of a row. It was quiet and convenient to get an early start on hiking the mountain. The bathrooms were clean.

Yep, it's pretty much just a parking lot. No privacy, kinda small, and cramped but it's level, got really clean bathrooms, water/dish washing sink, and some nice views. Also it's right next to the trailhead so super easy to just wake up and get hiking. Pretty much all you could ask for for car camping.

This is a parking lot at a trailhead. The bathrooms are clean and the view of the leaks is nice. Served its purpose as an overnight stop.

The reservation process on recreation.gov was efficient. The road into Pine Springs #5 was dirt with occasional rough spots and rocks, but no problem for our AWD Ford Transit van. I think site #5 has the best views of the sites on the Pine Springs road. There is a bear box (javelina box?) at the site, but no picnic table.

Right next to the trailhead to go to the top of Texas and near a bathroom. Couldnt ask for more for my needs!

I didnt stay here long, it was mainly a last minute stopover because travel plans changed, but it looked wonderful. The RV spots are a little close together, its essentially a parking lot, so if you have more of a setup like I do (truck/car/suv camper, you might book a site with a picnic table. Not all have them, and if one isnt available there are day use areas close by that have them. The only big thing that bothered me was the loud people across the way that enjoyed making fun of my setup. They could be heard across the campground.

Nice little campground, very remote and peaceful. Bathrooms available and camping spots are flat compared to the RV, pull through, truck camping spots that are at an angle / slope. The trails are awesome and I will continue to return to this beautiful place.

RV parking is a stretch to be called camping. But close to the bathrooms and trailhead was a plus!

The camp host was very informative and cheerful. The trails were plenty starting at the campground. It is nice not having to drive to the trailheads. Sometimes there is not enough parking. We enjoyed our time here.

Devil's Hall was a great hike, though be prepared to rock scramble. Also pay attention to high wind advisories, common to the area. With more time, Guadalupe Peak would be on the to-do list.

Great hiking and views from the trails. Opportunity to enjoy solitude in the desert mountains. RV area is a bit crowded with little space between sites. You really need to see the top of Texas from Guadalupe Peak summit!

A little too basic facilty . Parking lot atmosphere. RVs need proper fresh water hose bib to fill tanks. People end up spilling too much water filling up. In the effort to save water much waste was created.
