Great campground! Heated bathrooms by the RV park with a designated dish washing sink outside. Would stay here again.

Nice little camp. The tent section was away from the RVs. There is a filtered water station. The biggest disappointment is the noise from the highway. The camp is less than a mile from a very busy highway and all night long cars and trucks are zooming along. You go to nature to get away from the stress of the world, but the traffic noise just brings you right back. Would it kill the NPS to out a sound barrier along the highway?

Pine Springs camp ground is at a great location for all great hikes for the park. it does get super windy there so better be prepared for the right camping gears.

Beautiful campground. No camp host. No rangers monitoring the campgrounds. Someone took our campsite even though we had reservations. They were gone the next morning. When we told the rangers about our problem at the visitor center, they told us to contact recreation.gov.

Pine Springs campground is an incredibly beautiful campground with a great view. I watched the sunset over the mountains from my site. When I arrived at my site it said it had been reserved with my initials there.
Once slight source of confusion for me was the time zone. They are on MOUNTAIN time zone.
Something to keep in mind is, the bathrooms nearest me were pit toilets. There may be running water somewhere but I didn't go looking for it.
It was also so windy that I could barely sleep, but I had checked the weather forecast and knew about potential for wind, so that one was on me.
It was about 30 minutes from Carlsbad Caverns which was really, really cool! It's a must-see natural feature.

Great tent site. A bit close to others. Had a “friendly” skunk visit but no spray.
