There were two spots for our specific campground, but other people parked there, so we had to trek with our gear back and forth, which was a little frustrating. Maybe the host should be a little more attentive. Great views, though. Bathrooms couldve been cleaner.

Site 19 was far enough back from the roads that we felt that we had privacy. Good setup with good-sized tent pad and very large picnic table. Very nice views of the sunrise! Great access to the Guadalupe Peak trailhead. During our 3 night stay, the dish-washing sink was down. And, on the last 24hr of our stay, all the water was down which meant the water refill station and flush toilets were out of commission. This resulted in the toilet paper at the vault toilets running out quickly.

Good campground where sites are pretty private and hidden from others. This site is a little bit slanted. Only downside is that you can hear highway noises starting around 5am and people will start opening and closing their trunks at the same time.

I enjoyed my stay very well. Everything was clean and not much around. Even though my boyfriend ruined my birthday trip to Guadalupe, I enjoyed the campground very much. The sunrise is amazing

Realy nice spot. Can get windy so be sure to make sure your tent is staked in. We failed to do so and it blew into a prickly pear while we were out hiking and it tore our fly.

Camping is nice... but also very close to the highway, so you hear cars and trucks passing all night long.

We camped in site #19 for 3 nights at Guadalupe Mountains NP and we loved it. This campsite is spacious and set back from the parking lot, but not too far that you can't camp with creature comforts like an air mattress! There is a short, rock paved path from the lot to the campsite and my folding wagon handled bringing our gear up and down making life way easier. The restrooms are in the RV area just a bit up the road and weren't a huge hassle to get to as we were at the front of the campground - however, for those campsites farther back - it's a hike. It was fun to watch the hikers begin the ascend trails pre-dawn from our campsite as we could track their headlamps. The other campers were very courteous, much less of the party atmosphere at the NPs than the SPs. The tent pad was large and easy enough to drive stakes into. It was very windy during our stay and we were thankful to read the wind advisory on the board in the morning and were able to secure our tent before being blown away like some of our camping neighbors. The trails at the park are very well maintained - we hiked Guadalupe Peak and McKittrick Canyon.

We reserved online and got to our site at 11pm. We were after hours but were able to drive to our site and saw our reservation hanging on our site number. That was helpful because we knew we were in the right spot. The campsite was perfect for what we needed and we enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our experience at Pine Springs campground. Our campsite was clean and set far apart from other campsites, providing a nice quiet and private feel. The nearby restrooms were clean and well maintained. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Wonderful setting, clean facilities, no noise, no annoying neighbors etc. It's evident that the hosts of this campground take great care of the place.
@ThomasL696 · Camped on Oct 12, 2021 at Campsite #19
Nice camping area - good separation between sites. Downside: tent is on a fine gravel so getting stakes in the ground can be a real challenge. Bring a tent footprint so any rubbing on the rocks below don't mess up your tent. Be prepared for the wind gusts that might come in - when I was there the gusts (can be 40 mph in the campground) really challenged my staking so I piled rocks (readily available) on the staking points for extra hold down power.
