Campground is a parking lot, your site will be a parking space on pavement. Clean bathhouse but the dishwashing station was out of order.I chose this campground for the proximity to Guadalupe Peak trailhead and it did not disappoint.

For RVs, you are camped in a parking lot, but if youre small enough the perimeter sites are pretty decent. It affords a bit of separation and privacy. We enjoyed visiting with other campers as well. Early access to the trails was guaranteed, water was available and the bathrooms were clean. The night sky was brilliant, but the bathroom lights were a bit distracting. A few steps up the trail would eliminate that.

Got one of the outer spaces with a picnic table and more of a 'view'. Dishwashing sink didn't have water, but the drinking water pump a few meters away was working fine so I filled up my camping sink from there. Flush toilets, always nice! No showers.

Great spot for the van. Busy trailhead but it clears out once its dark pretty quickly. Water and restrooms on site are clean.

Location was great. Bathrooms okay. Parking lot set up ok. Would do this again due to convenience to trails.

Couldn't get into the campground so I slept in my Tacoma bed with Lear topper June 6. Was going to stay several nights but when I came down from Guadalupe Peak it was infernally hot and I couldn't imagine spending an entire afternoon and early evening suffering through the heat so I left and vowed never to come back in this kind of heat. Otherwise the hiking in the parks is worthwhile and great.

Our spot was a driveway off a parking lot. The setting beyond the parking lot was nice, and it's at the trailhead for Guadelupe Peak.

We have been to this campground before. The facilities, location and amenities are fine. I wouldn't recommend coming during spring break. Just a timing problem.

Recommend staying here to get an early start on hiking to Guadalupe Peak.

Koodos to our hosts, super friendly; has a great conversation with her and a little bit him him. Also ranger was super nice. Sorry but didn't get the names but this was June 15th-ish

Iconic location with jaw-dropping mountain views. We camped at the Pine Springs Campground in RV site 32 last week with a small Sprinter van RV (19 feet long). Incredible scenery and access to trailheads. Other campers were quiet and respectful, but there was considerable noise and traffic from day hikers in the parking lot. Sites are very primitive, close together and offer no shade. We would camp here again when we visit Guadalupe Mountains National Park in the future. We recommend camping in one of the sites on the periphery, if possible.

Very basic camp ground… however, right on the trailhead… we enjoyed our visit… VERY windy

Camp Host was horribly rude about our trailer and truck not fitting into the site to his specifications and we were evicted the next morning, though we had a 3 day reservation and did not interfere with any traffic flow or damage any vegetation. The park ranger & management supported the camp host's position, though they were not rude. It was a traumatic, unnecessary experience and we would never return.

The RV camping area is really nothing more than a parking lot. It is in a nice valley but nothing spectacular about it. No hook-ups for RVs if that matters. One restroom with running water and flush toilets. Friendly camp hosts.

We stayed at one of the RV spots with our camper van and were really happy with it. The surrounding mountains behind us were a beautiful backdrop. It’s a great starting point for some of the parks best hikes. Water and bathrooms were available.

This site can handle 25 -27 foot rigs using the overhang. The site details state limit of 21' but our wheel to wheel span of 14' easily cleared the main road. Lovely campground, helpful, friendly Ranger. Canyon trail to lodge and grotto a must..
