No water faucet is available to fill RV water storage tank.

The site has great views. Plus everything is so close to most of the trailheads. All you have to do is wake up and step out onto a trail. Bathrooms were nearby and clean. Just wish for showers. Ill definitely stay again.

We had one of the RV spots in the center, which worked out well, our site on the very end has a little grassy area with a picnic table, which was handymostly for setting up portable solar panels. The campground and our campsite are at the trailhead to Guadalupe Peak. Its very handy for when the trail gets busy and parking gets slim. We had enough space for our 30 ft travel trailer, and a pickup truck tucked into the side.

As it states the RV section is a parking lot that is connected to a super active trailhead parking lot, be prepared for car noise and people around always. It was very busy!Pros: Beautiful views of the mountains, flush toilets in a bathroom that has heating and was mostly cleaned, close to Carlsbad Caverns, close to trails right around the areaThe outside/edge rv spots are much nicer and "farther" away from each otherCons: Very busy with people using the trailhead, bathrooms at times were super busy/messy due to hikers,You're in a parking lot on top of each other, If RV next to you is using generator it's loud :( The outside/edge spots are much nicer than inside pull-through spots but online reservations stated must fit WHOLE vehicle/RV within spot (IE for camper vans and such) No disconnecting your trailer in spot and then parking your vehicle in the hiking parking lot spots. MANY people did not follow this rule during our stay here and parked trailer in the spot and car in hiking parking lot.VERY windy in this area

Definitely no frills but enjoyed the park and it was worth it. Wish we had water for the RV but other than that! Loved it!

Good RV spot. You are in a parking lot of course. But perfect for what it was. Really windy one night we were there - be prepared! We'll be back again.

Was a little early for good fall colors. I love this area.

Wonderful staff. Very clean facilities. We stayed in our camper for three nights with no issues.- Check out Frijole ranch / smith spring trail. The nature speaks for itself!

It was good for a one night stay. No problems. It was close to the key trails.

Many of the sites in the RV section of the Pine Springs Campground are just long spots in the parking lot. We knew that when we booked it. It's not a camping experience, but we needed a place to stay with one small camper and one car, and it was adequate. The place was quiet; the skies were dark. The restrooms were fine, and the dish washing sink was helpful. No complaints. It met our needs, and it's a beautiful location.

Beautiful campground! We loved everything about it.

Beautiful spot, basically a parking spot, windy. Right at the base of the peak.

It's a parking lot with lots of traffic from hikers. Dogs are not allowed on trails so activities are limited. No showers. The park had lost power so they ran a loud generator all day: not sure why because there were still no lights in the rest room...

Great park and the campground -- although mostly just a parking lot -- was more than adequate. Close, clean toilets. Close to (and easy access to several good trails).

I stayed in the RV area, which is simply a parking lot with a beautiful view. The restrooms were right there and relatively clean, and there's an outdoor sink for washing dishes. I enjoyed the area and the trail head for both Guadalupe, and Hunters Peak are right there. I would stay here again.

Nice area and great hikes. Beware, if it’s windy don’t leave anything out. It might not be there when you get back.
@DaveP554 · Camped on Jan 18, 2022 at Campsite #30
Simple, flat and easy pull-through site. Great volunteers as camp hosts. Perimeter sites are smaller. Had climbed Guadalupe Peak years ago so focused on hiking. Devils Hall is NOT to be missed!!!
@zhixinT456 · Camped on Dec 30, 2021 at Campsite #30
The RV sites are in a parking lot, some are shorter so please check details (especially for site length) before you book. the facilities are nice.

The campgrounds were very well taken care of the hikes were gorgeous and the camp ground attendant were extremely nice!

The parking lot campground wasn't the best, but the mountain views made up for it. We enjoyed the one easy trail that was dog friendly. I hiked Devil's Hall to give hiking mountains a break. After scrambling boulders for an hour in the riverbed, the mountains started looking like the better choice. It was a great hike and I'm glad I did it.

This was my first national park that didn’t have a dump station in the park
@RickH801 · Camped on Oct 17, 2021 at Campsite #30
It is a parking lot but the location can't be beat.
@KarenK338 · Camped on Oct 9, 2021 at Campsite #30
Even though it is a paved parking lot, you can’t beat the price or the views. The camp hosts (married couple) were extremely helpful and informative. I would definitely stay again.
