Check in was super easy and site was a short walk to the visitor center. Perfect view of the sunrise every morning and didn't take long to get to the trailheads.

We had a great time. Everyone was very nice and extremely helpful including the volunteers we met along the trail. The trail itself was no nice, but I made it to the top.

Some of the best campgrounds that we have stayed at. Good privacy and sites set up to avoid close proximity to neighbors. Great group campsite. We liked Group Site 1. Close to most trailheads and in close walking distance to the visitors center.

The group site was great for our party of 10. There was enough room for our tents and 2 tables to cook and eat at. The pit toilets were within easy walking distance but we did not smell any odor from them. The handicap parking space nearby allowed the one person that walks with a cane to be able to join us.

We had a group campsite. It was truly a great experience. The campsites are very well separated from each other with native shrubbery. Restrooms were very clean (cleaned daily), and very low smell considering they are compost toilets. Water is available at the trailhead to Guadalupe peak. There were two drinking fountains just outside the campground, but they didn't work. They may have been frozen (temps were below 27F when we got there), or just closed for the season. Anyway, we are planning on visiting again next year.

Pine Springs always impresses me with how clean, orderly and well kept the camp is. Our scout group with 6 one and two person tents easily fit in the group site. The only downside is that there is only one designated parking spot (beside the handicapped spots) for both group sites, which is strange. We parked one car behind the other in the one spot.Pro Tip: if you are staying at Pine Spring before backpacking in the wilderness, be sure to move your car to the trailhead parking as early as possible. We didn't and wound up having to park cars on the shoulder of the highway for 3 days.

Great facilities and helpful park rangers ( even super nice volunteer rangers!). Crushed the mountain with my two daughters in 3.5 hours. Beautiful scenery with cool monument at peak
