The view from the campsite was good and our spot was well maintained, but the campsites are all very close to each other and we felt sardined in. We had maybe 15ft between our site and the next.

Absolutely love this campground. It was quite windy this weekend, but still so beautiful during the day. Campground hosts and friendly! The restrooms are a short walk away if you dont want to use the vault ones. There are several hiking trails you can walk to from the campground as well. Great campsite with beautiful dark skies.

Site was beautiful and well-maintained. Great views. Definitely appreciated the separate tent area, which was very quiet. Tents not to far from parking. Clean pit toilets near tent area. Flush toilets a short walk away near RV camping area.

The campground looked nice, but it was not clear when we booked a tent site with a car, that it was a walk in tent site and we have a rooftop tent, therefore we paid, but did not stay and drove to the KOA in Carlsbad instead. Sad we missed the Guadalupe mountains.

We were lucky, there was a cancellation so we were able to get campsite 11 at the last minute. The campground is in a designated wilderness area, so there are not many amenities, including showers. Also, there are no open flame fires allowed. But the campground is nice and the scenery is amazing. Great experience!

Beautiful sites for true hikers & campers. Quiet pristine sites. Sink up at RV camping (a little walk for tent folks). Rangers on-site & at visitor center extremely helpful. Overall camped alone & felt taken care of as needed

After you made the reservation, the website is not clear on what to do once you arrive.

If you go to Pine Springs make sure you bring water. There was no water for tent camping. Every water source was capped off. The only place to get water is in the visitor center and they close at 4pm. We arrived after 4pm and were very surprised that there was no water access. Very, very disappointing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was a wonderful camping/hiking experience! Ok, other than the 55mph wind gusts one night. I suggest you not use a high profile tent if high wind speeds are in the forecast. All employees and other guests/campers/hikers were super friendly. The Peak Trail and Devils Hall Trails were strenuous but beautiful. We also hiked the McKittrick Canyon Trail and enjoyed it.
My friends and I love this campground. The view at sunset is especially nice. My one piece of advice is that it can be windy in this campground, so be prepared to secure your tent accordingly.

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
