This was the worst National Park campground I have ever been to. You get a parking space in a trailhead parking lot. This parking lot is very busy. All I want to do after hiking all day is make food and relax. Not enjoyable when people and cars are going past the campsite only a few feet away.

Beautiful park - we wished we'd allocated more time for hiking. The RV spots were adequate - flat and quiet.

Wonderful campgrounds if you pick the right spot! Service is spotty, download what you need before you arrive. Can definitely get sunny even in cool temperatures so make sure you have shade and sunscreen if youll be hanging out outside a lot.

Perfect location for being close to the trails. Walkable distance to everything the park has to offer. This specific spot can be a bit noisy as early hikers arrive/begin to show up.

Great campsite for taking the hike to the peak, the only problem is the 12 check in and check out. We arrived on the first night and planned the hike for the next day, however we did need to get up early enough to move into the a spot near the trailhead. It's a 6 hour hike so with the 12 check out it didnt allow us to stay in the spot. Otherwise the site is great and would stay there again.

The campground was beautiful, but it was 16* when we woke up in the morning, too cold to walk around and enjoy it.

The RV campsites are in a parking lot. That being said, we had a BEAUTIFUL view from our site. The trails started from very nearby and were great. We were surprised by the nice, heated bathroom. It was very cold, but we managed, even without heat in our teardrop. It is a lovely place! The tent sites were very impressive with lots of privacy.

Big Bend national park ranks right up there with Yellowstone. The whole experience was awesome. All the Rangers were extremely friendly and helpful. It was easy to book the spot online and easy to find all of the different features in the park were very impressive. We will definitely visit again.

Very convenient for Guadalupe Peak. Not much shade so be prepared to be hot. Lots of flies. The water bottle filler wasn't working but there's another big tap with potable water. It would be great to have access to power somewhere in the facility building please.

Underwhelming campground but my campsite was okay... when we arrived there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. So little to do at this NP other than hike which I usually love but the cold cold cold blustery wind made being outside very challenging. Pretty sunset and sunrise from the CG.

I stayed in spot #33 and it was pretty good. It felt more than just a parking lot since it was on the outer edges. It was a great spot but is also very exposed with not much privacy. If youre looking for a spot on the edges and a bit of privacy I would say #25 and #31 are the best for that. The wind in this location is no joke. I have a Thule rooftop tent that cantilevers over the edge of my car and the wind was so bad that it lifted up half my tent, with me inside of it. It made for an interesting night and morning. But the fact that you are right next to the trailhead of several trails is a huge plus. There is a community sink for washing dishes which is a great amenity to have. The bathrooms were extremely clean.

EXCELLENT! Campground immediately adjacent to hiking trails. Nice restrooms and fresh water supply. Setting was spectacular with surrounding mountains.

Had a great time in Carlsbad and Pine Springs was the perfect place to stay. The weather was not to hot for June and there was plenty of outdoor activities including hikes, the Caverns, and Carlsbad the town. If you stay at Pine Springs with an RV or Camper, pick the sites on the north end nearest the trailhead. The campsite on the east side are nothing more than a space in a parking lot.

It's not really a campground. It's a parking lot marked off for camping. Restrooms were not operational. But it was quiet and in a place we wanted to be. So ok.

Windy, cold. Just a big parking lot

The RV area is just a generous parking lot with picnic tables, but it's convenient and quiet at night. The campground host, Bill, was very helpful and fun to chat with. The short walk down to the visitor's center was nice because it keeps you off the road.

The RV spaces at the base of Guadalupe Peak were perfect for us. My boyfriend and I were able to sleep under the stars in the back of his truck the evening before we hiked the mountain. Also, the hosts were very friendly and helpful, and all of the spots were close to the restroom (that was clean and well maintained).

The campground was very convenient to make our reservations at Carlsbad Canyons on the 11th and the 12th. The campground was easy to get to and the flat parking spaces for our camper van were nice. We did not know that the sites did not have fire rings which was somewhat frustrating. More frustrating was the fact that the men's restroom was locked with an out of order sign on the door. The suggested hike to restrooms at the visitor center or other campgrounds is not at all a viable solution for someone who uses the toilet two or three times through the night. Most men in the campground used the ladies side.
