Camping spots were very tight, in a parking lot. Hiking was very scenic. This park is also convenient to Carlsbad Caverns.

Clean facilities. As others have said its basically a nice parking lot at the trailhead for Guadalupe Mountain. Easy walk to visitor center.

RV sites are basically a space in parking lot, some with no picnic table. So if your vehicle does not have table, cooking will be a problem. Parking lot is near trailhead, but still have to park car at another space during the day due to limited RV spaces that consecutive days reservation is difficult.

I liked the campground. It was a bit rugged but for me, I like that. The doggies enjoyed and walking on the loop road. I was happy that other campers were present.

This is just a parking lot with no privacy and little space. It does have flush toilets and sinks with running water.

The RV lot and the tent camping are separate areas, so that helps the tent campers be exposed to less noise. The RV spaces are close together but very workable. There are spaces for the camper van as well as the long trailer-truck combos or the Class A. No hookups but water is accessible near by. Just be prepared to be boondocking. The hikes (that's why you're here, right?) range from easy with doggie to strenuous. Depending on the trail, bring water, be in shape, be prepared!

The hikes were amazing! The Pine Springs campground not so much. Hard to get a site for consecutive nights and crazy windy when we were there.

Love this campground. Easy access to trails. Wish they had a shuttle to McKitrick Canyon.

Just camping in a parking lot with no hook ups. Other campers were friendly which made it a good experience.

The campground is basically a parking lot but the surrounding scenery sure makes up for it. Facilities were good.

Great location, close to the trailhead for multiple hikes in Guadalupe Mountains National Park. I parked my van in one of the RV spots. The spots were level. Cell service (verizon) was two bars for most of my stay. Bathrooms were decent and clean. Potable water was available.

The campsite is great, and the campsite hosts (especially Eric, but Larry, as well) were extremely helpful figuring out soe reservatio issues and making sure we had a spot. They were fantastic

Meh! It was like camping in a parking lot! There needs to be lil room between the campers! I could nearly reach out to touch the neighbors!

The hosts were very nice and helpful to everyone. The bathrooms were clean. The campground though is very plain, simply a parking lot. About half of the rv spaces didn't have picnic tables but ours did. Our rv spot was too small to leave trailer attached so truck and trailer were parked side by side. Not sure if this is common but we had excessive winds both nights. The first night we stayed in the rooftop tent, the second we just slept upright in the cab of the truck. Rv spots are close to bathrooms. The tent spots however had a bit of a walk to use bathroom facilities. The rv part of campground is in the same parking lot as several of the trail heads so added traffic to the campground during the day that you would not normally have in a campground.

When I made the reservation it was just concerned about the length of the trailer and not the height, I didn't realize I had to select something further down on the web page to see the restrictions. Got too excited about getting a spot. I didn't realize my trailer might not fit till about 3 days before I was suppose to be there so all the other spots were filled so I couldn't change it or cancel, so I stayed in White City. It would have been helpful if you asked about the height of the trailer at the same time you were asking about the length.

I do not understand why when there is so much space at GMNP, the RV campground is a parking lot with all the sites close together. It isn't a campground, it's a parking lot.

We loved our spot under the tree and the location was great for the hiking we did in the Guadalupe Mountains National Park, in McKittrick Canyon. It was quiet and dark at night for some great stargazing, too.
