Campground sites are clean and the reservation system was implemented perfectly for our arrival and stay. Bathroom was also clean. The only drawback, which is beyond the Park System's control, is the traffic noise coming from the nearby through-route to Van Horn and El Paso.

It was very windy which is normal for this time of year but the campsites were well spaced and felt private, very clean, nice bathroom facilities, volunteer staff very pleasant and informative. I would definitely recommend!

The campsite was great, despite some road noise. But whether there is a camp host or not still in the park, someone needs to mark the campsites as our neighbors had someone squat in their site. They had to deal with the issue themselves, but this could have been ENTIRELY avoided. There is absolutely no reason with only 20 sites, which I in my 60's could walk all of them in less than 20-30 minutes walk this site and put the reservation designations on them. When I discussed it with the rangers, they dismissed it all as not having a camp host. I call it laziness. Never in my 25 years of backpacking have I seen sites in a national park not marked with the camp reservations. Beautiful park - but the superintendent needs to do something about this situation.

I wish site #8 had a better access to the parking lot. Also there was no water and far away from the bathroom and trash cans! Other than that, it had perfect view.

Had campsite 8, had a nice shady tree and open east side so caught a nice sunrise. Also was guarded by some shrubs so it has some privacy despite the proximity to site 7. Easy 2 minute walk from the parking lot. And there is a bathroom by the tent camping as well as nice bathrooms and drinking water by the RV camping. Overall great spots and amenities for a NP campsite!

We loved our stay. Everyone was friendly and the rangers were very helpful. Perfect walking distance to the trails and bathrooms. We will be back!

The campiste has beautiful views of the reef, the eastern horizon/sunrise, and stars. However, the best part of our trip was Eric and Larry, the campsite hosts. Both really helped us out as we dealt with some logistics diffiiculties created by covid. Eric especially was extremely helpful and kind. Both were fantastic people and hosts.
