We stayed in the tent only section and loved it. Beautiful views, lots of animals seen, very quiet and peaceful. Should have stayed there longer.

Campsite was clean and well spaced from other sites. Jackson Lake is lovely with plenty of beach to sit and enjoy it. Many hiking trails are nearby.

I loved my campsite. There were some children that were pulling branches off of trees which I reported. I am always amazed at the lack of knowledge people have when camping. Other than that, I had a great experience.

Beautiful campground right on the lake. Short walk in but not too bad. Bugs were not terrible

I've been coming to the Tetons for decades and finally stayed at Lizard Creek. What a gem! Site 40 is perfect; it's well spaced from adjacent sites and has an unobstructed view of the lake. The only downside I experienced is that the ground is very dusty--probably not an issue for most, but something to note if you also have a toddler who likes to roll in the dirt. Location is 10/10, close enough to Colter Bay for supplies and lake fun, but far enough from the busy crowds that you really feel like you're in nature. Other campers were very quiet and respectful, adding to the appeal of this campground. Bathrooms weren't glamorous, but they have flush toilets and sinks as opposed to pit toilets (something that's usually a trade-off for solitude at a campsite). Overall, I highly recommend Lizard Creek and specifically Site 40. Will return next summer for sure!

I had site 40 and it is a walk up site. The only downside is that the trail to get to the site runs along side site 39 so you feel like you are walking through their campsite each time you run back to the car but its a very nice campground. Full of trees, quiet and peaceful. Greeted by friendly hosts when you arrive. There are 2 ant hills in 40 so watch for those when you put up your tent.

Only there for one night but this campsite was great! A quick walk down to the water to enjoy the views and drink the morning coffee! Highly recommend this site which is a bit back from the others.

We had a great time at Lizard Creek Campground. The hosts were really friendly and welcoming. We had a great camp site directly at the lake (site 40) and enjoyed our time there.

We enjoyed our stay in this campground. Just know that some of the site share parking so you might have to walk. We would have packed differently if we would have known. It was beautiful and clean with spacious sites.

Make sure to check water levels before you go. Amazing campsite but at the moment Jackson Lake is dried out at this campground area. The camp hosts are super nice!

Our favorite campground in GTNP. Stunning site (40) on the water, nice facilities, and convenient location. We'll definitely be back.
