2024 was the 2nd year that we have stayed at Gros Ventre campground. The first year was great, but we were in a different campsite in F loop. We have a large 38' RV and require electricity for a medical device. This limits our site choices. The only site that I could get this year was not as nice as last year. There was an extreme wasp problem and because of this, we could spend little time outside in our campsite during the day. In addition to that, there was construction being done in the campground all day, every day so we got to listen to that noise instead of the peace and quiet that we were looking forward to. Had I been aware that this was going on, I would have chosen another campground. The area is beautiful which is a plus. They do have wonderful events at their amphitheatre that we highly recommend. I do feel that they are expensive. We did have moose in our camp last year, but nothing this year. The fish hatchery just down the road near the National Elk Refuge gives a great tour. Mormon Row is another beautiful place to visit near Kelly. Also, making reservations on recreation.gov is difficult. I had previously ly picked out six sites at this campground that I was interested in and I was on the computer at 7:45 a.m. on the day that these sites were being released to be able to make reservations and I was ready to go by 8:00 a.m. when I was able to add my favorite site to the cart, it was no longer available. That was at 8:00 a.m. Sharp. In fact, the only one that I was able to get at all was my last choice. It seems to me that the reservation process could be much better. Anyway, beautiful area, lots to see, just do your homework before you go. Even then there are no guarantees that you will get a site that you like. Will we stay there again? Most likely. We have family from Idaho and friends from Utah that we meet there and all stay together for a 8 or 9 days although they dry camp in another loop because they don't require electricity.

A very nice campground, close to Jackson, WY and Jenny Lake, both are a must stop if you are there. A great bike trail, but it was too cold and snowy for us while we were there. We recommend staying here if you are going to the Grand Tetons National Park.

Great campground. Only comment I have is to expand the driveway by the water fill station so people that have dumped don't have to wait for someone filling their water tank. Maybe even move water fill to a different location.

Nice quiet park. Unfortunately a visitor felt it was important to share their political point of view by flying a rude flag at their site. I believe in freedom of speech but those kind of expressions are ridiculous and just demonstrate a persons ignorance

Friendly, clean, organized. Great place to see moose. The surrounding area is just breathtaking. The staff was wonderful. The sites were easy for any type of unit.

The camground staff were very friendly and answered our random questions. The campground was clean and tidy.
