Check in was easy, staff were pleasant and knowledgeable. Loved seeing wildlife in the campground!

This campground was peaceful. The site was level and the other campers were very friendly. It was a bit remote and it wasn't possible to see the skyline of the Tetons at sunset. The line to dump in the morning was ridiculously long. The water fill-up station is situated so that if someone is filling up their tanks then no one can get around them. This needs to be widened so others can exit. Especially when there are "newbies" who are not able to pull far enough to the left so others can pass them on the right. Unfortunately, the campground workers were not monitoring this and did nothing to assist with having the people move out of the way.

I enjoyed our stay in this park. It is a little tight in some areas, but it is wooded, and well kept. I do not like that you are charged for water, whether you use it or not. This park is located in a beautiful part of the national park. You have easy access to Teton Village, and Jackson Hole.I would stay here again

Best NPS campground in the Grand Tetons. Walk to river with good fly fishing. Excellent staff and great campsites. Watch out for the moose!

Loved how easy it was to get checked in, and the quiet this place offers. I especially loved seeing 5 moose while staying there…even one in my campsite that we all stayed far, far away from! I stayed inside! Lol
The bathrooms were always cleaned and well cared for. My only wish was for a shower. Even a paid shower would make it possible to stay longer.
Overall…ideal for tent campers and RV’ers of any kind, who don’t concern themselves with a shower.

We love the Gros Ventre Campground and the Tetons. We have camped there several times in years past and it is definitely one of our favorites. It is a beautiful and quite place to stay and very well maintained! We really appreciate the new reservation system; it is much more pleasant than waiting in a line for open spots in the very early morning hours. The D loop is wonderful, especially with it's electrical accommodations as those are important to some people.
Fun Activity: Go out early and again towards dusk to find moose along the Gros Ventre river.
