Pros:Campground was pretty and all the sites seemed spacious and beautiful. Flush toilets (but no shower)Dump station as you exit (but must schedule in advance with host)Not too far from the bike path that runs into the main park areas (which I cannot recommend enough. The bike path is great!)Theoretically moose frequent the area around dusk and dawn (could be pro or con based on your POV)We saw a badger, which was pretty cool!Cons:The bathroom placement, especially for sites in the "west corridor" where we were did leave something to be desired. Bathrooms were few and far between, and the walking paths to them all went right through other sites (a pet peeve of mine). I'm not sure whether to recommend staying close to the bathroom (where you'll almost certainly have people tromping through your site at all hours), or far from it (where you'll just be...far from the bathroom).Campground is riddled with what I'm pretty sure are badger holes. Don't let your kids stick their hands in them (and they will try!)Much further from the "park proper" than other campgrounds (eg Jenny Lake, Colter Bay, etc). Not a big deal. Just something to know.Overall, if they'd fix the bathroom path situation, I'd give this 5 stars.

The location is beautiful. We chose this campground because of its proximity to Jackson and cycling routes. My husband and 5 and 7 year old spent 4 nights here. Our first site, WC 227, was small and we had to hike down a short embankment to get our food stuff to the table and bear box. We were pulling a pop up trailer so this was an awful site for us. We found another site that was better and available for us the next day, but changing sites turned into a logistical nightmare for us because the new site vacated early and we couldn't move in because of the rigid rules about when a site is available. Let's just say we lost a day dealing with moving out of our sucky site 227 site by 11am and moving into the new site no earlier the check in time. Our new site was better, but that campground needs upgrading. First, the WC section is a straightway (not a loop) and every car came buzzing by as if they were on the highway. Maybe speed bumps would help? Not safe for young children or even adults. The bathrooms for those of us in the WC section were really hard to find and far away. Even taking shortcuts through social trails was far. The bathrooms were fine, but the campground needs some closer to the WC section. I got lost looking for a bathroom while driving and ended up in the "Do Not Enter" section were employees lived. I didn't even know that section was private because the direction I entered from didn't have it clearly or largely posted. It was confusing. I stopped to fill up on water and an elderly white man in an RV demanded to know where I worked. As a dark Mexican female, the first thought that crossed my mind were all those black individuals shot for being in the "wrong place." When I didn't answer him, he yelled at me that I wasn't supposed to be there and that it was a private section for employees only. I worked in Grand Teton as a naturalist 10 years ago and lived in employee cabins. We often had folks come in lost. We never treated them like this man.

Most campsites have wide driveways so even if short, plenty of space to park vehicle next to trailer. Great park guides for tons of hikes of varying difficulty. All beautiful. We’ve been many times but fall colors were especially exquisite this year.
