A lovely quiet campground with plenty of trees giving shade. Nice clean bathrooms. Our site, 210 was next to a vent with an occasional sewer smell. But otherwise good experience and we would camp again here.

I had a great 5 night stay in Gros Ventre campground. The hosts were friendly and all the other campers were quiet and respectful. The campsite was clean, as clean as dirt can be. Nothing was left behind by previous campers. The fishing in the Gros Ventre river was great, especially the part running by the campground. It's artificial fly and lure fishing only. Jenny lake was beautiful. It was pristine. The mountains are impressive and Jackson has lots of choices of souvenirs if that's what you like. I hate to say it, but I have one complaint. It's not anybody's fault though. The traffic in the park and in Jackson was pretty heavy. I felt that if I didn't drive over the speed limit through the park, I would have another car right on my bumper. Other than that, I had a good time and highly recommend visiting and staying in Gros Ventre campground. See as much as you can and try the fishing.
