The Gros Ventre campground is located in a quiet park of the Grand Tetons with easy access to southern areas in the park. The campsites could use some TLC if your tent camping, they have a fair amount of rock in them and no designated tent pad. The campground was also on the pricier side compared to a lot of other National Park campgrounds.

Gros Ventre campground was very quiet and conveniently located to the many Grand Teton NP locations.

My family and I had a wonderful experience staying here. The staff was very helpful! I would definitely stay here again. Very convenient location too

This is a big but well run campground very near the Tetons (in the Park). Staff were friendly and helpful. The campground is within walking distance of the Gros Ventre River, so you can wander the banks and potentially see wildlife. We say a moose mom and baby!

The campground was so close to everything and it has really nice facilities. Every campsite I saw was also super flat with a perfect spot to pitch a tent. Such a great campground!

The last week of September, Colter Bay campground is closed, but Gros Ventre is open. Im sure the Park has its reasons, but it meant waking up to early morning jets taking off. It also meant more driving in the park due to the Gros Ventre location, and no campfire, as campground services (firewood purchases) were closed when we came and went. We did get to see moose up close right in the campground. Bathrooms were clean and offered hand soap and sanitizer. Sites were spacious. Our section did not allow generators. That was very nice! We loved our time in the Tetons. I know I am being picky here, but I set the bar high for my favorite National Park!

Great experience. We did a quick overnight with tents. The campground was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We were on the loop with no generators allowed and it was peaceful and quiet. The bathrooms were clean. I would go back in a heartbeat!
