We loved the campground. It's location was great to get to everything and close to the bike trails.

It is a wonderful campground with big, private sites. The check-in is quick and efficient. We saw at least one moose every evening as we drove back to the campground.

I love coming to this campground!!! I have been coming here for years but never have I had such abrasive encounters with staff until this year. Their job is to educate, build relationships and enforce rules when needed. Multiple times we were borderline harrassed by staff driving by our site and exhibiting behavior that was very abrasive and unwarranted. Most of the staff this season is in their first year here and needs to be trained in what their roles should be! Instead of threatening to call the NPS they could exhibit attitudes that are more about educating and informing. Tom and his wife are exemplary members of the staff so it is sad that a few untrained people ruin the experience.

Great campground, perfect location for exploring the southern half of the the Tetons. They were having problems with their septic system so had to reserve a day to dump but they were handling it as best as they could.

We stayed in 205D with electric. It was a nice site. We didnt need to use the dump station or get water but feel for those who do. Totally needs upgrading for the size of campground Gros Ventre is. Shame on the forest service for letting it go. Cell service was very minimal. We had no AT&T service and only a small amount of Verizon using a cell phone booster. It was surprisingly quiet given it was the middle of August.

Beautiful location and the campground manager went out of her way to help us with an ada campsite.

Imagine the Tetons, with Yellowstone thrown in, a babbling creek, wide open camp sites, perfect weather, must see landscape and Mother Nature at her finest! This is Gros Ventre. We had the best time and absolutely loved this campground. We will be back, the sooner the better. Make sure you visit Jenny Lake and String Lake at the base of the Tetons... the beauty is astouding!

Enjoy fellow campers!

Camp host was a wonderful man who went way out of his way to make our stay enjoyable (offered, wood, etc.). And, the camp was virtually empty which made for a more enjoyable experience. The lake was very low however....

This is the first year Gros Ventre has reservations only. The process went very smooth. So nice not to have to fight for a spot or wait in line for hours to get a spot that was too small or no spots at all. These people sure have gone thru alot in the years, dealing with difficult people and I appreciate them very much. This time of year, Moose are often hanging out in the area, which is always nice to see. Once end of June, first of July come, they are gone.

Our campsite was a disaster when we got there. Two huge piles of feces which we had to take care of before we could even park. Piles of brush everywhere. No one had done anything for several months at this campsite and for the price you would at least expect cleanliness. We had a campsite with power and it worked well. Checkin was easy. No OTA channels or ATT signal, which is expected and welcomed. The location was good, but that's it.
