Great campground with lots of trees, flat parking, and basics like TP and soap in bathrooms. Checkout for leaving was quick and easy. Definitely will stay here again.

Gros Ventre was our favorite campground of our 2 week adventure which also included Colter Bay and Signal Mountain. The location was ideal, right in the middle of our excursions. There were moose sightings every morning (2nd week of September). The bathrooms were clean and very close to this site. Lots of room between sites and site was level. Although there are no showers, honestly, the Signal Mountain pay showers were so disgusting we wished we had skipped them. Gros Ventre was the only campground with a Tmobile signal. As we left 4 dogs and 2 cats back at home, the ability to be reached was kind of important to us. Signal Mountain and Colter Bay had NO reception unless you were sitting in one of the buildings. Beautiful place!

We didnt love this campground overall. The hosts were very friendly and helpful at check-in, which we appreciated. The sites themselves felt a bit underwhelminguneven ground made setup tricky, though it didnt affect us much since we were using a rooftop tent on our truck. We followed the one-car-per-site rule, so our kids reserved their own site just to sleep in their car. Meanwhile, the group next to us had four motorcycles, three tents, and a hammock, which felt a little frustrating since we had paid for two sites to stay within the rules. To be fair, Im not sure what the official guidelines are for bikes, but overall it didnt feel like things were being monitored closely. On the plus side, the campground was very quiet and clean. Bathrooms were standard for this type of place, and the potable water was convenient. Still, I wouldnt choose to stay here again. Ill admit Im more of a backpacker and dont usually love established campgrounds, but compared to others in the area, Colter Bay was a much better experience.

Gros Ventre Campground is a fantastic place to stay for nature lovers. Nestled near the stunning Grand Teton National Park, it offers breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. The campsites are tight but well-kept, with plenty of shade from the surrounding trees. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Wildlife sightings are common, adding to the adventure. With its beautiful location and excellent amenities, Gros Ventre Campground is a perfect base for exploring the great outdoors. Highly recommended!

Nice campground. No real issues other than the ground is very rocky so it was hard to find a good place to put the tent

The campground is great! The campsites are pretty far apart, so it’s not too crowded feeling. Is it worth $50/night? Debatable.

Big campground with lots of sites. We were on a tent-only /no generator loop. Its nice to have that option so you dont have to listen to the RVs running their generators. I liked being close to the river. Campground hosts were nice, bathrooms were clean. I would stay again.

Our site was so closeTo the bathroomPeople were using our site as a pathway. Multiple people crossed between our fire and camper. The light was super bright all night, and they did not let us drop our camper 20 min early in a site that had been obviously cleaned out.
