The campground is well spaced in a gallery cottonwood forest along the Gros Ventre river. Strolling around the various loops at dusk was a very pleasant experience. The absolute best thing about this campground is the separation of those who want to use generators and those who don't want to hear them.

The staff was amazing! When we arrived the staff helped us find the perfect spot for our 4Runner with a Napier tent attached to the rear of it. Bathrooms were super clean and the views at gros ventre were amazing!! Thanks to the staff for their assistance!!

The hosts were very accomodating at Gros Ventre. We found the noise from the generators disturbing hence we asked to be moved. The camp hosts quickly accommodated our request! We also had a moose sighting from our campground -- so exciting!

Very nice setting, the sites on the north-west border have a view of the Tetons. Just ten miles from Jackson Hole.

Great views, helpful rangers. Very close to the entrance to the NP. Would recommend this campsite to everyone.

This is an older campground with trees but not a lot of shade mid day. Efforts are being made to improve the campground (paving, etc). A good place for 'traditional' camping as well as RVing. One should do their due diligence on determining the size of their campsite if they have a larger RV, especially in the no-generator section, where many of the parking spots are smaller. Camp staff is excellent. Fire wood/ice, pay by credit/debit card only.
