This was a good, standard/conventional campground. It is on the very edge of the park so you do have to do some driving to get to destination spots/activities. The campground was flat and very open, and it felt safe. It can feel hot though with limited shade. They had indoor toilets which is a plus. A great place to stay if the campgrounds deeper in the park are full!

We enjoyed a very pleasant stay at Gros Ventre. The campground hosts were pleasant and informative. Our site, though smaller than we expected, was sufficient for our needs. We had one neighbor who thought the generator hours didnt apply to him but other than that it was a great trip. Weather was rain and sun mix with mostly cloudy skies but we still enjoyed our hikes and eating outside.

Enjoyed this campsite as close to the Tetons as we could get still with a sense of convenience! Gorgeous views.
