Our first stop in the National parks here. The site was clean and level. The bathroom was nearby. We went to the Ranger program in the evening which was really interesting. We were very comfortable here.

Make sure that your rig/tow vehicle can fit on the pad. Also site on bends maybe difficult to get into.Copy hosts are delightful but not close to some sites/area because of no electricity for them. They also need to be more visible during the day, not just up at check in.

Good campsite with a view of the Grand Tetons (through the smoke). Paved road and spur. The campground is managed by the Lodge Company, not by the Park Service as it should be. The generator hours are much too generous, from 8 AM to 10 PM. Should be no later than 8 PM, like most NPS areas. Most folks were courteous with the late hours, except for our neighbor one night. She still had it going after 10 PM. I called Park Dispatch, who advised they would let the campground host know. Nothing happened. At 10:30 I tried to call Dispatch, but lost my phone signal. I finally got to sleep. Don't know when the woman turned the thing off. I don't know if Dispatch or the hosts need to be jacked up.

This site has a very primitive field, but very well paved roads. Each site seemed to have a bear box, which was nice. The picnic tables varied in quality - ours was old and sitting on the black pavement as there was nowhere else to put it on the site. Our fire pit didn't really have open space around it and then we had to find open land in our site for tents - not your typical campsite. All the sites seemed to vary in size and usability. Looked more like an RV friendly park vs tent. The river nearby is nice to swim in and moose eat nearby. Overall, if you want a campground and a site that is somewhere between a well built out ground and BLM, this seemed to be it.
