Convenient location to both the national park and town. Clean facilities. A good selection of various size campsites for all types of campers.

Upon arrival, friendly park staff greet you and get you all checked in. They have a wonderful stand set up outside of the small ranger station and wood and kindling ready to be purchased for use in the campsite fire rings. They were such a welcoming group of friendly smiles that immediately took away any of the tiredness and grump leftover from the long drive to get there. Our site was on a narrow loop (Loop A, great views, lots of space behind the exterior loop campsites) and my husbands expert backing up was needed to maximize the paved space but ultimately larger rigs fit nicely in their spots and we never had any traffic issues. Everyone there was respectful of the generator noise rules and picked up after their pets. The bathrooms were in great condition and the garbage and recycling options were well managed. Also whether you're tent, car or camper camping, they provide each campsite with a large bear-proof bin for food so you can be confident you and your foodstuffs are safe. It's a great spot between Jackson, Tetons and Yellowstone.

Found some trash in our site upon arrival. Dump station needs better roads in and out and should be completely redone.

I arrived after hours and the site was ready for me. It was unfortunately raining so we weren't able to enjoy the fire pit, but we did see moose strolling through the campsite in the morning. The RV dump and potable water at the exit worked great.

Camp staff was super friendly and helpful.
We were able to check in early because our spot had checked out early. We had a 6 man tent, tiny! In my opinion, and truly had hardly enough room to pitch. We had an RV on our left and felt like we were In their space.. it was awkward for sure. Bathrooms were close and accessible, nice and clean. Check In and out process was easy. Nice views, spots are WAY TOO CLOSE! And, even according to website dimensions, tent spots are not adequate.

Most of the sites are very open so there is not a lot of privacy. The view of the mountains was gorgeous, though! The bear boxes were large and able to fit our taller cooler and 2 larger totes. There was quite a drop off from the paved pad to where the bear box, campfire ring, and picnic table were...just a friendly warning. There are also wildlife wandering through the campground so it is very important to keep everything locked up.
