another huge CG in a national park, this one has no generator loops, which is sweet for those who don't need all that garbo. Plenty of shade and bonus wildlife on the edges. we stayed on the west side, beautiful sunset/rise and woke up to moose transiting our campsite and eating along the way.

The campsite was great. We were tent camping $60 a night for tent camping seems a little crazy to me. I could see if we had full hookups and a camper. We do a lot of camping and boundary waters camping which is reasonably priced. State parks and forest service campgrounds are reasonable as well.

The campground was great! The views were amazing but the misquotes were plentiful. I am sure if there was a little breeze they would not have been so bad. Definitely bring lots of bug spray and citronella candles.

The sites and area were clean and spaced out well for privacy. We were thankful for the provided bear boxes as a lot of campgrounds don’t provide them. We had a bear come through and it put me at ease!

We had an amazing experience in Gros Ventre Campground. The staff were super friendly and helpful.
We camped in the west corridor (no generators) facing the road and the Tetons. I asked the first person I saw if they had seen any wildlife and he said there is a moose right here.
We saw moose every morning and the campground staff managed the flow of outside photographers very well.
The bathrooms were very clean and stocked.
One thing I did was drive down Mormon Row and take photos of the barns and Tetons. This road is just outside of the campground.

Not enough bathrooms, and tenting is not easy there. Thankfully we had blowup mattresses or we would have been sleeping on huge river rocks
