The staff is so friendly and helpful. I was there at the very end of the season and they still smiled and asked if they could help in any way. Will stay here any time I am in the area.

very neat and clean site, from this site you get the best view of Teton Mountain

Nice campground, nice staff. Way overpriced though, especially for having no showers and for being far away from attractions in the park. Better off staying in the national forest where sites are either free or less than half the price of staying in the national park campgrounds.

We had site 69, A. It had beautiful views and was fairly level.

Great campground, with well-spaced sites. Many (on A loop at least) do not have much space to actually pitch a tent however. Most folks had trailers though, and the sites were well situated for that, so it might just be that loop. The far end of A loop has a view of the Tetons but most of the other sites from the entrance out towards that way have their view of the mountains obstructed. It was also harder to get down to the river than we expected without cutting through anyone's site (don't worry we didn't cut through, but it was definitely the long way 'round.)Also, we were informed that their dump station infrastructure is failing and that they can only allow about 40 dumps a day (out of over 300 campsites), so if you don't *have* to dump while you're there, consider saving that capability for someone else. Camp hosts sell ice and firewood and were very friendly. We got to watch a major line of thunder cells blow by to the north the night we were there - very dramatic!

We were away from home for nearly three weeks, my husband and I and our six children. This RV park was our favorite of all the places we stayed, so much so we booked it TWICE! We were impressed with how the space was used in consideration of creation, yet it was neat and clean (not just rocks and dirt). My husband and son also appreciated nearby fishing, which became their favorite fishing spot of the entire trip. It’s close to Grand Teton and Yellowstone. Everyone we communicated with in the park was kind. We chatted with other guests and met lots of friendly dogs. There was room to toss a football and have a campfire. Of all the places we stayed, this would be our first choice to book again. We would DEFINITELY stay here again!

Our site had no trees or shade. This did give us a very good view of the Tetons. It was not very hot so the direct sun didn't matter too much. There was barely any room for our tent though. Our tent is only about 7x7 feet, but we had to pick up and move the picnic table in order to make some room for our tent.

Gros Ventre is a lovely setting for boondocking. We had a nice view of the Tetons from our site in loop A. For ans is nearby if you need ice cream or other supplies.

One of our favorite campgrounds even better now with paved roads and sites! For this size campground I do wish there were more dump stations for RV's.
