Wonderful campground. Our campsite was directly across from the bathroom with lights on all night.

Our trip to grand Tetons and Yellowstone was great! We loved out little campsite. My husband and I tent camped, it was quiet and very relaxing. We had a great view of the stars at night. Gros venture is a great location between the two national parks and about 20 minutes from Jackson hole to get food, groceries, shopping etc. just plan ahead and make your reservations early!

Beautiful, serene site in grand Teton National Park. Loved being along the river. Perfect setting for day trips and hikes into the Park.

There was little cover at our campsite, but the area was beautiful and it was fun to see the wildlife. I just wish there was more shade at our campsite so the tent did not get so hot.

Loop C was amazing! Site 136 was massive for tent camping, but the parking spot seemed small for a camper. I noticed that some other sites were much smaller, but had longer parking shots for campers.
There’s a trail from 136-C right down to the river. The sound of Gros Ventre River put me right to sleep at night, but make sure you wake up late at night/early morning to catch a glimpse of the Milky Way. This site gives you morning and evening shade, but you’ll definitely be in the sun for the day if you stay at the campsite. It was a generator camp ring, but everyone did a wonderful job turning them off during quiet hours.
Bathrooms were clean and freshwater pumps were easily accessible. There’s a large flushable sink to dispose of camp wastewater.
Hosts were friendly and helpful!
It was a perfect camp experience. I’d stay in this campsite again in a heartbeat!

I called and cancelled this reservation three days prior as the traveling to there took longer than expected, the reservation was cancelled , and it was confirmed cancelled but later it said we still had a reservation for the day that I cancelled for. I will have to wait to see if I was charged for the stay.
