Great location! We were tent camping in the RV section since that was the only site available and every site seemed to be very different. Luckily, ours had plenty of clear, flat space for our tents, but many of the sites in our loop had very little space (clear from shrubs) for tents. This is probably important to know. They do sell firewood (very expensive) and ice at the entrance. The staff were very kind. Luckily, we didn't see any bears at the camp. Definitely use the bear box and keep all food there or locked in your car.

Very clean with lots of space between sites. Saw more Moose than we ever have before. Will stay here every time we visit GTNP & Yellowstone NP. Only complaint is the potable water filled very slowly and only had 1.

Dogs not on leash. People walking thru campsite. Generators running for hours. Two Rv’s and three tents in one site.

We really like this location. The campsites have been paved and widened, a big plus. The picnic tables could use some replacement but seem to be replaced with metal ones as needed. The sites are clean and well maintained with a good distance between each one. Personnel are knowledgeable and very helpful. The reservation system, being new in January, refused to let us use our senior passses but the staff helped us get a refund. We will come back in the future.
