I wish I had more time to spend here. This campground is lightly wooded and provides shade but is near a large meadow so the views are gorgeous. There are no showers but there are restrooms with flush toilets and running water.

It's a nice tree filled campground. The hosts are efficient, kind, and helpful. While there are many sites, we have a lovely peaceful experience. Would recommend.

Grand Teton nat'l park is incradable for photos, hiking, siteseing. The Gros Ventre campground makes it easier to get to these wonderful places. Right in its backward you can see wildlife and beautiful sunrise.

We enjoyed our stay overall at Gros Ventre! The campground is well laid out, and the entrance station is well stocked with amenities like ice and firewood in case you run out. There is abundant wildlife, large and small, so make sure you come prepared for bears, moose, and mosquitos. The location is convenient for access to Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks. The biggest cons were the lack of a shower and the light pollution. The bathrooms are illuminated all night with floodlights visible from the road 2 miles away which dashed our hopes of stargazing and watching the meteor shower. It was so bright all night it was almost like having a car shine its headlights into the tent. We would absolutely return but leave the telescope at home!

This is the second time that I’ve stayed in this campground and couldn’t be happier. There is plenty of space and the surrounding scenery is breathtaking. I enjoyed the fact that there are plenty of bathrooms so you are never too far, this was particularly favorable to my partner. On our last day we saw a huge moose just outside of one of the campsites and it was a wonderful end to our stay.

My favorite campsite on our whole trip. Great views of the Tetons, further from the tourist activities, and neat cottonwood trees that you are surrounded by.
