Overall a very good experience at the campground. There are several hikes/viewpoints fairly close, which makes getting up for sunrise views of the Tetons a little bit easier. Only 2 issues that doesnt make this a five star review. The first was that the toilets were just barely functioning, taking 3+ flushes. I totally get that in camping you wont always get pristine facilities but the signs up tell me that this has been an issue for quite a while. The second issue was the steep charge for fire wood. Two mediocre sized bundles ran us just over 30$, we got four 30 minute fires out of them due to the wood being bone dry. Not mad about the dry wood, but was just a lot more than we are used to spending.

We stayed here about a week in sept 2022! Loved that it was close to town yet within the park. Only area in the park that we found that had cell service. Staff is friendly. Saw tons of moose here. One morning, a family of moose walked through our campsite and the bull moose stayed at our site for at least 5 minutes. Unforgettable experience.

Campsite information did not state a 24 foot trailer would be an EXTREMELY TIGHT FIT with no room to park a tow vehicle on site. Did your company survey the sites to verify the acceptable trailer length? Please do your due diligence to confirm each sites exact dimensions. I would like a response back from an actual person within your company with contact information so we may communicate further

Beautiful campground, tight spots for parking campers. The spaces were very large and private though, and all was very quiet. It was a lovely getaway.

Our stay at Gros Ventre was fantastic. The person at the entrance office suggested we keep an eye out for moose and other wildlife throughout the site and they were spot on. I saw a large moose with antlers about 50 yards from the restroom closest to our spot. Our stay here was fantastic!
