Excellent staff at the entry station. Site 207D (50A, no water or sewer) fit my 40 ft motorhome nicely with the toad parked next to it. Great site for Starlink reception. The dump station next to the entry station has fresh potable water. No chemical taste or smell. Even with my 40 ft motorhome is was straightforward to 1.) check in, 2.) spin 180 degrees into the dump station and fill fresh water tank, 3.) spin 180 degrees exiting the dump station and proceed to my site. Very nice campground away from the madness of Jenny Lake and Coulter Bay. Second time staying there and would do it again.

We had a wonderful time during our trip. Its a beautiful campground and well maintained. The volunteers are very friendly and helpful. There is no recycling for paper or cardboard. Our site did state it could accommodate up to a 40-foot trailer, yet we barely fit our 30-foot trailer with our truck in the site! While on the website it indicated the entire campground was full, there were a few sites that remained empty throughout our entire stay, indicating they had been reserved, but no one ever stayed in those spots, which is very frustrating to those looking to extend their stay! Perhaps there needs to be a provision for non-arrivals losing their accommodation after a certain period of time?!

Great location. Very nice campground. Needs to upgrade septic system ( limited # of campers allowed to use dump station). Need more available fresh water.

Great sites far spaced, no interference with others. Just a few electric only, no showers at the park. Water at only a few places, dump station is easy very easy in and out.

Enjoyed this campground very much, and was pleasantly surprised that we had electric service. Great location and very quiet. Large sites & private.Several elk right outside the campground.

This campground is excellent, clean, and easy to find. Know your site limitations and services and plan accordingly. We love it here. Great location to tour GTNP, close to Jackson Hole for services and groceries and lots of wildlife. Super helpful staff. Can’t wait to come back. Be aware of bear and moose activity in the campground - check your windows before going outside at dawn, you never know what might be passing through your site!

Quiet uncrowded campground next to the river. Dry camping at its best with beautiful 360 degree views.

Check-in was easy and quick. The campground is well kept. The trail to the river is between sites 297 and 298 in the F-loop. We saw a moose at the river. There is plenty of wildlife. Gophers and Chipmunks will be at your site and are fun to watch. Moose and Deer are at the river. We heard Coyotes at night.

Cost is too high for electric hookup only. $113.00 for 2 nights with a Lifetime Discount Pass. Charged $4.00 for water but there was no water at the camp site.

The location of Gros Ventre is perfect and so close to main part ofThe Tetons. The campground is really great as it has a few electric only sites and those are ones we grab. It has no water at any of the sites, so be prepared. Moose are regular visitors there and the wildlife comes through at various times. The sites are spacious and you can now reserve them on Recreation.gov, which is so much better than first come first serve. Beautiful place.
