Fabulous place to camp with clean restrooms, forested spots near a river and most importantly some of the best hikes in Glacier are within walking distance so no stress about getting up super early find a parking spot. It was also nice to have the Swiftcurrent Inn within walking distance for showers, ice, ice cream and a cold draft beer if so desired.

Great campsite right next ti the river; wildlife activity was constant within the campground, bears both brown and black (cinnamon) plus giant moose just roam freely as they should. Some bathroom facilities are brand new, some are dated, all are cleaned well each morning. Excellent base camp for hiking, fishing, paddle boarding or just glassing for wildlife. Rangers are knowledgeable, educational and friendly. Camp host are kind and helpful. Couldnt ask for anything more besides booking more nights. This camp ground is busy in peak season.

Stunningly gorgeous campsite. Convenient to Swiftcurrent Inn for store needs, etc. Wish we had had more time on this trip to just hang out in camp, we were so busy seeing everything else.

Campsite #88 was really nice. I could hear the sound of the stream at night. The campsites were spaced apart with vegetation between sites to allow for privacy. I would definitely stay at this campsite again. The restrooms were clean.

We camped with a 24" Born Free motorhome. Campsite was adequately sized with plenty or separation from neighbors. The drive in was ROUGH with many, many, many potholes. Park was extremely crowded with backpackers? and hikers? probably leaving from the hotel area. We did not make it over to the hotel, perhaps next time. Beautiful park. Was surprised to be looking out our motorhome window and seeing a black bear saunter down the road in the middle of the day. Interesting. Glad we had the Scotties inside! Unfortunately we could only stay one day of our three day reservation because my husband forgot to pack his medications and we we nowhere near where they could be obtained. This area is very remote. Roads were being majorly worked on and we were stopped for quite a spell. Should be in better shape our next trip. Hope to be back.
