Site 45 is 10 ft from a restroom - which can be good or bad depending on your needs. The noise from the hand dryers can be annoying at certain times. The grill has been broken off the fire ring at this site and is missing. Showers are available at the store next to the campground. Many trailheads within walking distance.

Site R045 is not great. It's so close to the bathroom that it appears to be the handicapped parking spot for it. You'll hear the obnoxious hand dryer running as you try to fall asleep or sleep in the following morning. Someone was trying to dry their clothes at 9:30 pm when we were there as the dryer kept restarting for several continuous minutes. I get that the NPS was trying to be environmentally conscious when they installed these, but they should have considered the annoying noise factor. The Recreation.gov description shows a max length of 15', but our 19' RV fit with plenty of room to spare. The site had quite a slope to it, so make sure you have some thick leveling blocks

The campsite is very nice. I didn’t know that tents weren’t allowed until I arrived, so I had to sleep in my car. I would have liked to have known the no-tent situation before I arrived.

It was almost impossible to snag a reservation for Many Glacier but it was worth it. A little buggy but it was windy enough that it wasn't a problem. Our campsite was unfortunately very close to the bathroom and the noise of the handdryer was rather annoying. Plus, at night, the light from the bathroom shone into our tent. Other than that, it was a nice site and an overall great camping experience

Reservations are very difficult to obtain at Many Glacier Campground. Those of us in the hinterlands with slow internet connections don't stand a chance. I would like campground reservations to go to a lottery system. However, we were able to snag two nights of someone else's cancellations.Park staff was very friendly. Campground was clean. Trails were extremely crowded near trailheads and well-traveled well into backcountry. Everyone seems to be getting out to enjoy their national parks! I hope to get a backcountry permit next year to escape the crowds (which is on a lottery system). As we left at 6 a.m., there were already 8 cars lined up at the campground entrance to claim the day's non-reservable openings!
