Quiet campground that provides some shade on a very hot day. Close access to toilets and fresh water. Perfect place for exploring the area. Most hikes are accessible right from the campground

We understand that car camping puts us close to our neighbors no problem or surprise there. But please, please consider removing the electric hand dryers from the restrooms. This sound detracts big time from the ambiance. Honestly we as campers would be more than capable of bringing our own hand towels into the bathrooms or simply letting our hands air dry. On the positive side the trail access from the campground is phenomenal!

The Park Ranger was very rude and made us take down our ENO’s because she said we would triple the vegetation and it wasn’t allowed. We took pictures and reviewed or park flyer, there was nothing in the flyer she handed us and we were not outside our campsite and the hammocks did not require us to step on vegetation. She was obnoxious and ended up leaving a park citation after we left for our hike, even though we showed her we had not violated any rules. I have a picture of her and our campsite/ENO’s…not a nice way to be greeted at a National Park we had never been to.
