Great site and campground. Stayed 5 nights in mid-July. Friendly camp greeter and hosts. Nice shade and faces East so no scorching afternoon sun. Were tent campers and had plenty of space for our two small tents. Picnic table is good condition, large and sturdy. Host across the street. Easy walk to bathrooms and Swiftcurrent Motor Inn. Communal showers and bathrooms near the Motor Inn. Laundry was nice. Make sure you bring your laundry detergent. And one or five dollar bills for coin changer. Laundry takes quarters. A load cost about $2 for wash and $1.75 for dry. Ate a few meals at Nells. Hot while we were there so we cooled off each afternoon by going over to Swiftcurrent Lake. We parked in Many Glacier Hotel parking lot or found a spot by side of road near the pebble beach located just before you cross the bridge/spillway and enter road that loops in front of the famous hotel. Attended evening ranger programs at Many Glacier Hotel. Always drove over cause it would have been quite a long walk. Terrific hiking. Bring bug spray and mosquito netting for your face. The insects got pretty pesky sometimes.

Stunning campsite in a beautiful part of the park.

Amazing campground with some fantastic views! The amount of the trails that leave directly from the campground is amazing, especially since the three I went on were all very different from one another and all absolutely fantastic!

We stayed at Apgar & Many Glacier during our recent trip. Many Glacier had the better views I thought and we liked the feel of it. The bathroom amenties were convenient and nicer than I was expecting. Future visitors should know that they limit generator hours to 3, 2 hours intervals per day. We hadn't anticipated this but did understand it to respectfully provide tenters with a peaceful camping experience.

Spent two nights there and that was enough. We were lucky enough to be placed next to a very large and LOUD family. Both nights we had to ask them multiple times to lower the volume during quiet hours.
We had driven a VERY long time to get to glacier so after driving 36 hours, we were exhausted. The group, probably about 20 ft away, was made up of at least 10-15 people and were extremely loud. I’m all for having a good time but while continuing to be considerate of others especially during quiet hours. We ask them if they could lower their voices and they obliged. Needless to say, I had overheard a convo between them saying the people before us also complained about their volume.
Next night, it was the exact same issue. This time they were loud until midnight after asking them multiple times.
The following morning, we got up early to leave. Ran into the camp host (who were in the site directly across from us) mentioned how they were debating whether to say something to the group because they were also bothered by their volume. That should say something that even the camp host was bothered by them BUT they didn’t say anything! What’s the point of having a host then?
When we made the reservation, we thought it was a generator free campsite. Turns out it’s broken up into zones and our lovely neighbors started theirs at exactly 8am...

I wouldn’t recommend this site. Go to sites that are first come first serve. Those usually don’t have large families and have more room between sites.
