The facility:The campground is in good condition. The vault toilets were as clean as those at any other campground. There is only one water pump for the whole place, so bring water jugs that can be carried. The online map is not accurate. It leads you to believe there is a SW entrance and NE exit back to NF-18, but there is no exit. Instead, there is a turnaround. Be cautious about driving a long rig into the campground to explore, as you may need to back out along the 300-foot road. Following the details listed on each campsite is probably safe; however, for example, campsite #7 states it can accommodate a 40-foot RV, but if you were to drive that RV to explore the rest of the campground before setting up, the turnaround at the end might be an unpleasant surprise. The experience:If you camp here, be prepared for a social experience because there is little privacy or seclusion. The campsites are somewhat grouped together in tight clusters, which is good if youre going out with multiple cars and friends. Even if you get a campsite that is not part of a group cluster, it will still be very close to other sites and have little seclusion. If you're looking to walk around or have access to the Little White Salmon River, you might be disappointed. We spotted a few paths that looked like they went to the water, but they all began in someones campsite, so it was a bit awkward getting to a path to explore. There were also a few paths that cut over to NF-18, but again, to use them meant you were walking right through someones campsite.

Loved the area, not internet service made wonderful. the sites are nice and flat, most of them perfect for groups, if not a little too close to each other. site 6 is big. 4/5, 7/8 and 9 perfect for a group camp. the river is more like a creek. vault toilet somewhat clean, but smelly. I will definitely camp there again.

Beautiful campground but there is no host on some of the days cause they go to other surrounding campsites. The campground is clean and spacious. Cute little creek close by. The trail that you could take is not maintained and the path has disappeared from growth and lots of fallen trees. Really wanted to hike it but just couldn’t. I’ll return one day to camp since it is a great campground.

We spent 2 nights at the Oklahoma campground in July 2020. We had a great experience but wish there was more access to the river. The campground was pretty quiet and is beautiful. Mosquitos weren't too bad. We were able to get our 34' Fifth wheel into our spot - make sure you check the site dimensions to determine if your RV will fit.
