To us, this campsite is not worth it. To get to the site it's 20 miles/1 hour of HORRIBLE gravel rough road. We were hoping that once we got there it would be worth it, but our site was extremely small and the whole thing was on a hill. There was also no water spickets other than the one by the host. This campsite does have amazing wildlife though. There are crawfish to catch in the river and lake, trout to fish for, garden snakes to look at and enjoy, blue jays, hawks, and frogs. Our 9yr old loved catching the crawfish and frogs and wading in the river and lake. The lake does have A LOT of shallow water to wade into which was very enjoyable - the lake is very family friendly.
