Very friendly and knowledgeable park attendants, beautiful park,we have camped here many times

As usual the campground host were as friendly as can be. That was the up side. Down side, the cicadas were making their 17 year appearance. Thats not a bad thing except they overtook the restrooms and made a mess. Dead cicada carcasses everywhere. And thats ok because it just nature doing its thing except the contractors did a horrendous job cleaning the restrooms. They came, blew the sidewalk off with a blower and left. The restrooms were a disaster at a time when they really needed a lot of attention. F for the contractors cleaning the restrooms. Horrible!

My wife and I truly enjoyed our first camping experience at Whitetail Ridge Camp Grounds. We had a beautiful setting next to the lake and lots of space in between other campers…a quiet relaxing trip. And when we had to cut our trip short two days due to my son and his wife getting ill, recreation.gov refunded us the days we did not use the camp site. I will definitely come back and camp again at Whitetail Ridge!
