We arrived for some tent camping a day late due to some severe rainstorms and set up our tent to get the best out of the remaining time on our reservation. We set up in a small grassy area just off the pad and clearly part of our site, not being aware that doing so was against the rules. I didn't find that rule when I looked later but do of course believe it's written somewhere.Shortly after setting up our tent with dark coming soon, we were told that we could not set up on that grassy area and had to use the "pad". Normally that wouldn't have been a big issue, but the pad was half puddle and no good place to set up a tent. I feel like in some cases rules should have some flexibility. In this case there was no give and no effort to accommodate. Half the sites or more were empty due to the weather. Even an offer to move to a site not inundated with water would have been far better than the uncaring attitude we were given. Great Park, not so sure about some of the staff.

It was my first time camping at this park. It was beautiful. The camp site was level and clean. My neighbors were not too close. Ive already booked another trip. The view was great. I stayed on site 46. The bathhouse was clean and close.

All of the people there we so friendly. Very pet friendly, quiet, beautiful views.
