I’ve been camping here my whole life with my family as a child and now on my own in my twenties and I have never had any issues when Jason was here. He was always so kind. Suddenly, there are new people here and the man is beyond rude. He was a little off putting as I checked in, acting as though he had to tell me the camping basics in a condescending tone before we even got our pass. From that point forward, every time we left to grab food or firewood or to pick someone up, he would just stare and give us nasty looks. The next morning we checked out an hour early and he said “Where is your pass?” I said “I’m sorry, I must have lost it, but I can pay you for it”, knowing that a lost parking pass hasn’t ever been this big of an issue the few other times it has happened over the years. He yelled at me saying, “well how come you don’t have one!? I gave you one didn’t I???” Then he spoke to me again in another condescending manner and told me a complaint had been filed under my name for a noise level although no one ever came to us and said that we were being noisy or asked us to quiet down the whole time we were there. He told me that we almost got the police called on us, while telling another person that was camping with me in in a separate vehicle that the police were actually called (although no one ever showed up, and the police normally respond to calls). He kept saying “They might go through with the complaint!” but refused to tell us what that actually meant. I know that if I had not been a younger customer, I wouldn’t have spoken to that way. I don’t know if there was a real issue or not. No one besides that man ever addressed it with me past that conversation, but the way he spoke to me was unacceptable. To sum it up, I’m very disappointed in Watsadler right now and I hope that in the future, the people that work there will better represent the campground because it’s always been so wonderful until that day.
