Beautiful campground. Very well maintained. Getting around is a little convoluted, you follow a loop around to get to the dump and repeat the process to exit. They also lock the gate at 10 pm. We wanted to leave early because we had a long day of travel ahead and was advised the gate would open at 7 am so we could leave (there is someone available, in case of emergency). I understand the need for security, but I'm not sure a locked gate is the answer.

Campground Hosts were very sweet and took time to talk to us. It would be nice if the campsite area away from the main road would have been open to lessen noise.

I stay here a lot in the winter. They started using the "Old" bathhouse in the center of the camping loop. It is really in bad shape and need some work to make it clean and modern. The scum around the shower and the toilets indicate no one cleans it. They may sweep out the leaves and sand, but the bugs and spiders still remain. Other wise the campsites are nice.

We were in site 5. It was a bit tight ( tight turns) to get into the the, but the site is HUGE! All services worked as expected. We didn't use the facilities,so we can't rate them. The check in was super easy and the staff was lighthearted and friendly. It was a great stay.

I was in the loop closest to the dam road. Traffic noise a bit loud, and its a highway, so theres almost always traffic. All else was fine. Man at the gate asked to see my ID when I checked in, which has never happened before. A bit unusual.

Great campground, most site right by the water not crowed by you neighbor unless you want the Buddy sites next to you. Water and electric only but dump station is easy in and out. Geese families come to visit with their little ones in tow.

Although I only live one mile from Watsadler, itโ€™s a great place to get away - even for just a few days. I can work during the day and return to the campsite in the evening. Campground was very clean and quiet and the staff was very courteous. I have been coming here for years and will continue to enjoy it in the years to come. Highly recommend recommended.

Beautiful, large campsites! They were easy to get into and out of and were well maintained. We did not use the restrooms. (we are fully self contained - and it was raining!) Big picnic table, fire pit and grill on each site. There is shopping (Walmart, Ingles, CVS, Home Depot), gas, and restaurants all within 5 miles. The camp hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Great lay out. Nice wide asphalt roads with no tight spots of trees to contend with. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Sites are not too closely situated to each other and will accommodate any length RV.
