It's a lovely campground. We had good privacy. We had a beaver and a muskrat and a heron visit our little cove. Of course also had the every campground with water you ever go to geese and squirrels. We had gorgeous sunrises. The bathrooms were clean. We enjoyed walking the dam and on the SC side we experienced a stunning sunset. Site was VERY level. Definitely make a trip.

Volunteers were friendly. Site was nice and clean. Campground was full, but still pretty quiet. This is one of our favorites and we will be back.

We always enjoy staying at Watsaddler. Always quiet even when the campground is full. The only thing I know to be helpful would be in the bathhouse. There needs to be a bigger bench to put your clothes etc while showering. There are two shower stalls but only 1 small bench to put your stuff and it's only 1 foot square.

The park hosts overstepped their bounds several times. They were complete a holes . My brother in law actually reported them to the park rangers. My 80 year old mother in law had a permit and permission from the rangers to have a handicapped golf cart. We had 9 campsites throughout the park. The host harassed her the entire time we were there! Even had her in tears at one time! Also, the ants were terrible and when we got there our site had not been cleaned up. Left over charcoal and cigars on the ground! We wont be staying again. We have been coming to Watsadler several years, but we will not be back.

I love this campground. I have been twice in 8 months, and will be back in May. I would come even more often but this days it can be tough to get a reservation. The staff is wonderful, the campground is beautiful. Can't wait to come back.

We had a terrible time with ants. This seems to be common knowledge as many near us had a dust around their site. So, come prepared.

I love Watsadler because it is always quiet. I like the fact that the sites are kept well.
